In Person Therapy: Okotoks, AB

Specialties
I provide therapy for individuals and couples in Okotoks, surrounding areas of Calgary and virtually across Alberta who are navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and relationship challenges.
I specialize in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, burnout, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, panic attacks, trauma, grief and loss, relationship concerns, and perinatal/postpartum health challenges.
Many people I work with feel overwhelmed by their emotions, stuck in patterns of stress, frustration, or anxiety, and worry about burdening others or expressing what they are really going through.
In our work together, I offer a compassionate and grounded space to help you better understand yourself and the experiences that have shaped you. Together, we explore patterns that are no longer serving you and support meaningful, lasting change so you can feel more regulated, connected, and at ease in your life.
With 13 years of experience in mental health and addictions, I bring a warm and collaborative approach to individuals and couples therapy. My work is grounded in compassion, validation, and helping you feel truly seen and supported.
I draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Gottman Method for couples. Each session is tailored to your needs, with a focus on emotional connection, communication, and healing.
Therapy can have a lasting positive effect on how we show up in the world, for ourselves and for the people around us.
I understand how hard it can be to find the right therapist for you. I offer a 15min no fee consultation to ensure it is a good fit. If it is not I encourage you to have consultations with others on the team to find the right fit for you.
As a Individual & Couples Therapist/Registered Social Worker, my areas of focus include:
Grief & Loss | Anxiety | Emotional Regulation | PTSD | Burnout | Stress | Panic Attacks | Trauma | Perinatal | Postpartum | Birth Trauma | Self-Esteen & Identity | Couples | Intimacy | Communication | Boundaries | Relationships
If you’re ready to get started, I offer a 15-min consult to see if we are a good fit or you can book a full initial appointment.

Fun Facts
My mother is East Indian and my Father was Caucasian. As I was raised in Calgary, I was shaped by both Western culture and the rich traditions, food, and values of my Indian heritage. This blend of perspectives has given me a deep appreciation for diversity, identity, and the many ways people experience belonging.
Outside of my work, I’m a mother of two and enjoy spending time with my family. I find joy in cooking, music, dance, and attending local live music events, all of which keep me grounded and connected to creativity and community.
