Specialties
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unsure how to manage everything on your plate. Many children, parents, and families I work with describe a quiet pressure to keep going, even when things feel heavy underneath. In therapy, I offer a supportive space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing without judgment.
I specialize in working with children, parents, and families in Okotoks and surrounding areas of Calgary, and virtually across Alberta and Ontario, with a focus on child therapy, parenting support, and perinatal and postpartum mental health. I support families navigating emotional regulation challenges, anxiety, ADHD, behavioural concerns, and the transitions that come with pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.
My work often involves helping children express themselves in safe and developmentally appropriate ways through play-based therapy, while also supporting parents in feeling more confident, connected, and supported in their role.
For individuals and families in the perinatal period, I provide support for pregnancy-related anxiety, postpartum depression and anxiety, identity shifts, overwhelm, and the emotional impact of early parenting.
I believe healing looks different for everyone. For some, that might mean building practical coping tools. For others, it may be understanding patterns that feel stuck, reconnecting with yourself, or having a place to process what’s been building over time. We will work together to find what feels most supportive and meaningful for you and your family.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and rooted in compassion. I draw from client-centered, trauma-informed, and cognitive approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), integrating mindfulness, play based therapy, self-compassion, and nervous system-informed work. I also incorporate neurodiversity-affirming and somatic (body-based) strategies to support emotional regulation in ways that feel sustainable and aligned with your life.
I see therapy as a collaborative process, one that doesn’t have to feel clinical or rigid, but rather a conversation, a pause, and an opportunity to find steadier ground. Therapy with me is not about doing things perfectly, it’s about creating space to understand yourself, your child and your family more deeply, and finding steadier ground together.
Therapy can have a lasting positive effect on how we show up in the world, for ourselves and for the people around us.
I understand how hard it can be to find the right therapist for you, your child or family. I offer a 15min no fee consultation to ensure it is a good fit. If it is not I encourage you to have consultations with others on the team to find the right fit for you.
As a Child, Perinatal & Family Therapist , my areas of focus include:
Parenting | ADHD | ASD | Trauma | School Avoidance | Self-Esteem | Perinatal | Postpartum | Birth Trauma | Confidence | Social Anxiety | Depression | Anxiety | Family Conflict/Dynamics | Birth Trauma | Perfectionism | Neurodiversity | Emotional Overwhelm
If you’re ready to get started, I offer a 15-min consult to see if we are a good fit or you can book a full initial appointment.

Fun Facts
Outside of my work, I spend much of my time with my two boys and family on our acreage just outside Okotoks. I feel most grounded outdoors; whether that’s in the garden, learning as I go, or simply being in nature with my family.
I also enjoy hiking and have completed the West Coast Trail twice, a challenging and meaningful experience that reflects my love of growth, resilience, and time in nature. We hope to share that experience with our boys when they are older.
